In 2018 a group of committed locals formed a Charitable Trust inspired by the community response of the Cromwell Masterplan to drive the development, construction and management of a new multi-functional Cultural Centre.

Our Mission

Locally drive, develop and direct a Cultural Centre for the benefit of the Cromwell and Districts community.

Our OBjectives

►Develop plans for a Cromwell Cultural Centre in consultation with community & stakeholders;

►Build a premium multi-function centre;

►Manage the centre under an appropriate business plan;

►Hold the land within the Trust, with Council as residual beneficiary; and

►Work with the community, Cromwell Community Board (CCB) and Central Otago District Council (CODC) for the ultimate benefit of the Cromwell and Districts community.

A new Centre is an opportunity to showcase our diverse history and landscape. It is an opportunity for Cromwell and Central Otago to develop facilities for the arts, for functions, leisure and tourism and for community gatherings to enhance our authentic local character and identity.
