Research Trip to Oamaru

A member of the building working group recently met with the manager of the Oamaru Opera House. Oamaru is a town of approximately 12,000 residents, similar to Cromwell’s projected population by 2048. The facility offers 9 different venues including auditoriums seating 548 & 102, in addition to smaller conference rooms.

Research Trip to The Piano

On a recent trip to Christchurch one of the Trustees visited The Piano to see the facility a Trust has created for Christchurch. The building incorporates a 325 seat Performing Arts Theatre with a beautiful foyer and receptions area. Ongoing management of the building is partly financed by leased office space.
